Spicy Fried Shiitake & Gingko-nuts

  1. Soak dried shiitake in water for 8 hours. Remove pillar of mushrooms and score with a knife. Season it with sesame oil and salt.
  2. Stir-fry gingko-nuts in a hot pan to peel off skin.
  3. Chop finely a red pepper and green peppers.
  4. Roll each shiitake up. Coat it with sweet rice powder and Deep-fry.
  5. Cut fried shiitake moderately.
  6. Put vegetable stock, red pepper paste, soy sauce and grain syrup in a concave fan. Cook sauce.
  7. Add fried shiitake and chopped green/red pepper and mix all. Turn off the heat and add gingko nuts. Serve it.

  • Gingko nut 10ea
  • Red pepper 1ea
  • Hot green pepper 2ea
  • Sesame oil 1/2Ts, a pinch of salt
  • For frying: sweet rice powder 1/2C, salt, cooking oil
  • Sauce: Vegetable stock 1/2C, soy sauce 2Ts, red pepper paste 1Ts, Grain syrup 2Ts
