Perilla Leaf & Potato Flat Cakes

  1. Slice potatoes thinly and blanch it in salt water slightly.
  2. Wash perilla leaves and drain it.
  3. Add salt and water into wheat flour to make batter.
  4. Place one slice of potato on one perilla leaf and fold with the leaf.
  5. Put no. 4 into the batter and then fry it each side in an oily pan.
  6. Serve it with sour soy dip.

  • Wheat flour 1C
  • Water 1C
  • Salt 1ts, cooking oil
  • For dip: soy sauce 2Ts, vinegar 2Ts
