Steamed Vegetable Barley Rice

  1. Boil barley in water and drain it.
  2. Soak rice for 30 min.
  3. Peel carrot and zucchini and cut into julienne strips.
  4. Cut shiitake into julienne strips.
  5. Put rice and barley in a pot. Mix it.
  6. Boil no.5. Once boiling, arrange vegetable on top. Reduce heat to medium.
  7. Steam no.6 on low heat thoroughly for 3-4 min.
  8. Serve with seasoning while hot.
